Love

I am at the office using a computer wih an insanely large screen. Love IT.

Anyway, I just wanted to kind of sort through the people in Omaha, Ne that I love and will miss… This will be my TUMBLR goodbye…and if you’re lucky you get a real one too. ;)

MOM: You are my biggest fan. The woman who taught me how to be a lady. The one who taught me how to have a voice, how to be aggressive. LOL… You taught me more with your actions than you ever could with your words. What kind of woman owns a bussiness at the age of fifty-six…handles all of clients.. you pour your heart into people who abuse you…chew you up and eat you…and you never get phased. You never gave up. Always helping the forgotten ones. …because you know what? being persistent and doing the right thing…no matter how hard it is, always pays off - you are the proof.  You are love walking on earth. <3

DAD: Sure, I HATE being woken up…but when I hear your happy morning songs there is no way that my day cannot be great. You have never been on tune, and your high voice is hilarious, but you always sing no matter how ridiculous you sound. You are the KINDEST human I have ever met. Not that cheesy, fake stuff… the most real kindness I have ever come across. When everyone else is quick to judge, you are quick to give mercy - and I love that about you. I remember having a really bad day recently, and I had to call you about some information I needed. You answered the phone asnd said, “Is this the most beautiful daughter in the world?” …and in that moment, because my daddy thinks I am beautiful… I realized it too, and my day was much better. haha

JON:You are the sunshine, the whistle, the happy whisper, the loud laugh. You are probably one of the most fun humans I will ever meet. You just have to present, and the whole atmosphere changes. It has been such a pleasure to watch you being a dad, the way you can make Gabriel giggle is priceless. I love how you will watch stupid movies with me and not complain… Like “Princess Protection Program” hahahaa… I thought I was losing one of my best friends when you got married last year… but man was I wrong, you gave me another best friend…and a baby nephew TOO! You are the only one who has encouraged me with art FROM THE START. and let’s face it, my beginning art was pretty crappy! You saw something in me that I never saw in myself, and I will forever be thankful to you.

KARA: You are the sweet frangrance of the Appelgate family. I will never be able to fully communicate just how precious you are to me. You have the most beautiful silent strength I have ever seen. You let things slide off your back. You have the purest heart, I was blind to it at first….but now all I see is you shining. Everyday, you get brighter and brighter. I couldn’t of possibly asked for a better sister-in-law. You are a best friend, someone I depend on and love. Watching you in pregnancy and motherhood has been such an inspiration, you do things with grace and strength. Gabriel adores you, you are so good with him…it is almost like you were born to be a mother, it seems so natural to you. You are a gift. A gift to Jon, and goft to me, and a gift to our family.

MORIAH: You are always pushing things.. You demand something out of people, you demand growth. All of my life I have kind of been angry at you, for being so demanding. …but you know what? You have HELPED ME, you have forced me to keep going…you have illuminated the drive in me to succeed. You are one of the few people who challenge me. You are the only one I know who has a desire to go to Omaha Native Festival. You never feel awkward, you never are nervous… I feed of your courage sometimes…. I would have never gone to that festival without you! You are the one who I can be screaming at, and less than thirty seconds later we will be dancing and laughing. You are the one who can pull me at out of house at 12am to go make movies in the rain. You are KIT, I am LUCY…. and we like to travel across the country. HAHAH

JACK:Today you told me I was striking. For a vain young girl, you are a dream. haha..oh yes, and even though you made a mess and destroyed a lot of things, I love the way you feel free to throw a fit at the age of 65. I will forever love you.

Carol: You might of not been the nicest person in the world, but you still deserve a spot here…even if you will never read it. Basically, thank you for being you. I will probably never meet anyone who is as bowel and toilet obsessed as you. You once told me I was the funniest person you had ever met, I still don’t know why… But thank you. Your happy times are coming soon.

OK!!!!! I gotta get going… I am not doing spell check… so you will have to suffer through the mispellings!
